Youth Advisory Committee

Overview

The Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) ensures the Strategy and its supporting tools and resources meet the needs and priorities of youth. The committee provides input on the content, design, accessibility, and presentation of all strategy materials. This input helps the project team create materials for youth that are appropriate, engaging, and valuable for youth.

Membership

All members are youth between 15 and 30 who live in British Columbia and self-identify as having a disability (including mental health and substance use challenges). Members meet virtually every two months to review project materials and provide feedback.
