What have we been up to?
On July 6 released our biggest publication to date: our Youth Survey Report. Read it online and share your feedback with us!
Last month we started two working groups to support us in building out our employment support model for youth with disabilities. There is a Youth Working Group and a Field Professionals and Subject Matter Experts working group. These groups are currently working with us to develop the structure, learning topics, and curriculum of the model.
We soft-launched our new social media campaign, posting project updates, information about us, our committees, our project, and more. Follow us on @esydbritishcolumbia on Instagram and TikTok and Facebook.
We’re hiring!
We’re looking for a Content and Curriculum Developer to join our team. Under the direction of the Project Lead, the Content and Curriculum Developer works collaboratively with the project team to advance the ESYD project. This position works closely with the Project Analyst to research and analyze project information/data and translate it into content and curriculum for deliverables. The Content and Curriculum Developer writes, edits, and designs the flow of content for all resources/tools associated with the project.
This is a hybrid work opportunity, with a minimum of 2 days/week in office.

What’s next?
The Caregiver Survey Report will be released later this summer.
The Service Provider Survey Report is also being written. We look forward to sharing it with you in the coming months.
We are wrapping up the first round of user testing our Guiding Principles Checklist. A report will be released in the coming months. Round 2 of user testing will start in September.
